Let the rock flow from your fingers!

I'm hoping that you can learn from my experience. I've spent years and years dreaming of mastering the guitar fretboard. I've taken private lessons, online lessons, and worked with some amazing lead guitar players on stage, but nothing "stuck" with me and I always found myself working in the safety zone of the five note Pentatonic box number 1 that I learned nearly 40 years ago today.

I realized recently that there is a simpler way! And it's helped me navigate the guitar neck in a way I never thought possible.  Up, down, horizontally, vertically...in any key - major or minor. Layered with some phrasing I am starting to finally express myself when I improvise. And I've stopped getting "lost" when I move out of the boxes.

I believe this is a unique approach to learning the guitar fretboard - starting small and working your way up to more complex patterns. And I can't wait for you to join me on the journey!
